Edge: Smooth + BRONZE Hallmark: BRONZE Degree of rarity: UNPRECEDENTED OBVERSE: OVERSEAS MASONIC CLUB OF PARIS / COL H.H. WHITNEY / PRESIDENT. SIGNED: Anie Mouroux, Paris. Right face of the Col. H.H. Whitney, in Fields: A.E.F. REVERSE: AT THE UPPER COMPASS ON BRACKET WHICH INTEGRATES a G, FROM EACH SIDE, LETTER U & S. CENTER: FIELD RESERVE BOTTOM: R F SEPARATED BY A LILY FLOWER. 1918 – 1919 In its original cardboard packaging and vintage paper: OVERSEAS / MASONIC CLUB OF PARIS.

His fraternity medal on the field of battle earned Col. Whitney this distinction in October 1919.

Annie Mouroux was French, from Cosne-sur-Loire (Nièvre) and medalist engraver. She is supposed to be the first woman to win the award of Rome from the School of Fine Arts of Paris. She will produce portraits of General John Joseph, medals, Gen. Pershing and his Chief of Staff, and Colonel H. H. Whitney.
